We will be activating the second Access Node in Nash today (Wednesday). The link is already in and working very well so all the customers on that node should get access today
A small hiccough occurred yesterday when the signal strength on the wireless link from Ridge Hill Farm to Buckingham suddenly dropped from (for the techies amongst you) -68db down to -86db. The link carried on working and I am sure none of you will have noticed but we didn't like it. So bright and early this morning, we replaced the transmitter at Ridge Hill and all is restored to normality.
It was one of those mornings that makes this job a pleasure, bright, frosty, breath hanging in the air. I think Joseph would also have liked 65-70 degrees but he will have to wait for a while for that to happen.
I hope as many of you as possible can make it to the Village Hall tomorrow evening to meet with us, we are looking forward to putting names to faces
